In my research, I use statistical and computational approaches to study a variety of problems in both the physical and social sciences; for example, I am working with a Sociologist to study the nature of social relationships. I am also engaged in mathematics education research, and in the development of new courses that fit data analytics and quantitative thought under the umbrella of the liberal arts (in collaboration with faculty in Management, Philosophy, Economics, and Psychology).
